Rune Sophia was formed on January 17th, 2009 with the aim of creating a friendly environment for friends to hang out, provide friendly entertainment, and to help each other out while playing Rune. We are a group of players who mainly enjoy doing non-combat skills. For the most part, we don't hold regular events or do things like boss hunting or pk'ing (but that doesn't mean you can't). We do, however, enjoy the 'spur of the moment' events often.

However, we took a break from Rune for a year due to some issues with the game itself. We are now back to reestablish our clan on Christmas of 2011 (it's our Christmas present to Jagex).

Simple, be a mature person. Mature is defined as follow:

- Maturity encompasses being aware of the correct time and place to behave and knowing when to act appropriately, according to the situation and the culture of the society one lives in.

Besides being a mature person, we suggest that you at least have some interests in common with us and understand what doesn't interest us. You can find out about it on the above post and the clan info.

We are a humorous bunch. We have lots of laughs joking at each other. Sometimes it may come across as mean and abusive, but it's all a joke without ill intent. So we ask that you would keep an open mind, learn and adapt, enjoy our jokes and share yours, if you want to become one of us.

We don't require you to be a certain level to join us. You play your character any way you want to enjoy the game. However, we do have a citadel (it's sorta like a clan base), we do ask that you do your share to help with the weekly upkeep. Your contribution isn't going to a be waste of your time. For each task you perform (there is no level or tool requirement) you'll be gaining exp according to your task skill level. If for some reasons you are unable to contribute, you should let one of the high rank members know or leave a note explaining your reason on this forum.

• Clan reputation:
While you are in this clan please remember to act respectfully toward other clans and players, your behavior reflects on the entire clan.

• Respect others:
This is important. If you can't do this, we don't want you in our clan.

• Promotion and demotion:
Do not ask for rank. Asking for one will only prolong your promotion if any at all. Do not discuss about another member's rank. We promote or demote for a reason. If you feel that we neglect your contributions for the clan, bring it to the attention of one of the high ranking members.

• No Multi-clanning:
Also known as "clan hopping". If you leave our clan to bear other clan's vexillum or cloak, do not ask to be re-invited. You may use any other friend chats if you wish.

• Rules of RuneScape:
We do give some leeway to suggestive talk, just still be careful when you're doing this so you don't get carried away.

• No using bots or discussing how to use and/or get one:
- This should be covered by Rules of Rune Scape, but it is important to list it here so that it is absolutely clear. To clarify, bots are macro programs that help you cheat to gain advantage in your game play, such that you would gain exp and items without actually being at your computer.

-Note: this is not the same as multitasking, where you surf web, read forum, watching youtube, etc... while training skills.

• No scamming of any kind:
Again, this should be covered by Rules of Rune Scape, but it is important to list it here so that it is absolutely clear.

• No flaming:
While it's okay to talk about religions, politics, history, and etc., keep it friendly and no "flaming". If you feel uncomfortable with the topic, simply do not partake in it. You could also leave the clan chat (the chat, not the clan) for the time being.

• Be considerate and don't get carried away with joking/teasing:
Just because you can joke with one person in a teasing manner doesn't mean another person might not get hurt by the same teasing.

• Be tolerant:
Be tolerant and don't over-react to jokes in cc. If you feel someone has or is crossing the line, please pm a high ranking member or let the person know in a polite way that you would appreciate if they would refrain from joking in that manner when you are around.

• Listen to higher rank:
When a situation arises and a higher rank tells you to stop, do so. If you think that they are wrong and abusing power, bring the matter to the clan owner or deputy owner later. Do not argue back as two wrongs don't make a right.

• Do not disrupt the cc:
No spamming. Try to refrain from typing many lines of text while someone is giving someone else help.
